Weekly Weigh In Round 2 - Week 1



Remember when I used to post my weekly weigh in every week a few months ago, and then I got really lazy and gave up and started eating whatever I wanted and stopped working out? Well.... that was a bad idea! I gained back 8 pounds. Recently my best friend decided to motivate me to start back up again and made me shake on it that I would start the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred again, but ACTUALLY stick with it this time!



I am proud to say that I am back on the wagon! I decided that I didn't want to start a work out plan if I wasn't eating right as well. So, last Monday I put away the junk food and bought healthy food. I also did the 30 Day Shred EVERY DAY for a week! Tonight I will start day 8! This work out is SO HARD! But, I am already doing better at it and even advanced to level 2! I stayed within my calorie goal as well! Some of you may remember that I did weight watchers the last time around. This time I am using an app on my new phone called My Fitness Pal. I am really liking it so far. A few of my friends are on it too and we can see each other's updates. We leave comments to motivate each other. It also helps me to stay on track if I know that my friends will see that I cheated on my diet or that I didn't work out. It also helps that I have to report to over 1000 of you as well. So, I will be posting here every week with the weigh in. It will really help to keep me on track!

I am happy to report that for this week's weigh in I lost 3 pounds! Woot!!!! What a great start! was worried that the Easter holiday would get in the way of the dieting, but I was a good girl and stuck to my eating plan and still worked out. I have about 18 pounds left to get to my goal weight. I hope to be able to do this by the end of July. I know that might not be realistic, but I am going for it! I really miss my old self. There were so many times this week that I did NOT want to work out, but I remembered that I shook on it, and I take that very seriously.

Maybe next week I will be brave enough to post photos of where I am now and where I want to be in July. As of right now, I don't have any photos of myself that show more than my face from a nice angle. :) I need to make a point to take a full body shot. I've just been avoiding that.

You are doing an awesome job! I am so impressed by your self-discipline. It will keep paying off, I know it! We'll be thanking each other in June and July. I really think you can reach your goal weight, too. LoVe YoU! Think of me when you're doing lunges bc I hate them :)
