Perching At Home's creator started to crochet as a way do deal with postpartum depression and anxiety. The repetitive hand movements of crochet have been shown to lower your blood pressure by 11 pts! As she shared the things she had made with others, they urged her to open my shop. It all started with the cookie monster hat. As her child got older, she started inventing things that didn't exist, or simply weren't good enough, and then came the Best Baby Shower Gift and the wildly popular Teething Rails. She is happy that others can find joy or even a laugh with the things she makes, because there's nothing more healing than laughter.
