Softbums Review and GIVEAWAY Ends 3/9

SoftBums is the husband and wife team of Sarah and Brian Van Bogart. They have been selling their unique diapering system since 2008. Sarah Van Bogart, founder, co-owner, and designer for SoftBums, has been sewing and designing diapers for over 10 years. She brings her unique experience as a mother of four, La Leche League leader and even training as a midwife to her products. She works hard to provide the best products she possibly can, because she knows how frustrating it is to have a diaper that fits badly, leaks or wears out after just a few months.

 

I was sent a SoftBums Omni diaper to review. My very first thought when I pulled it out of the package was that it looked so small, I noticed that it did not have snaps on the front and wondered "Isn't this a one size diaper"? After some inspecting, I figured it out. These diapers size are adjusted by adjusting the size of the leg openings, using a drawstring and a toggle that are in a hidden pouch on the diaper. This diaper will truly fit any baby from newborn to toddler. This diaper will also be a perfect fit every time. I know with some of my diapers that are adjusted with snaps, sometimes they are too big and sometimes they are too small depending on my baby's growth. It is nice to know that we now have a diaper that will fit perfectly every time. I also never have to worry about blow outs, because the fit around the legs is so perfect, that nothing will be escaping.

Another thing that I really like about this diaper is that I have the choice to use the pod (insert) as a snap in, or I can tuck it into a pocket (it has a very large pocket opening). I could even use it as a cover if I wanted to. This diaper is also one of the softest I have ever felt. They have really come up with a good band name with SoftBums, because their diapers really are so much softer than any of my others. I feel like baby M will literally be sitting in the lap of luxury with this soft diaper on. We received the Super Dry Touch Pod and a Dry Touch Mini Pod for my heavy wetter. This is a perfect diaper for night time. I know that we will not have any leaks as long as she has on her SoftBums diaper.

The only con that I have with this diaper is that it doesn't come in many color or print options. I would love to have a SoftBums Omni in a really fun print.
