500 Follower Celebration!!! Zookies Diaper Cover Review & Giveaway **CLOSED**

Welcome to the 2nd giveaway as part of the 500 Follower Giveaway Celebration! Does it seem like I start every review & giveaway with the words "I am excited?". I was about to start this one the same way and realized that I say that a lot. But, I can't help it, this giveaway makes me excited! So, here it goes.... I am EXCITED to present Zookies! Zookies was created by Michelle Zook, a WAHM (work at home mom). Zookies offers diaper covers and other baby and craft items such as burp cloths and reusable sandwich bags.



I was sent this AWESOME Zookies diaper cover in the "Love Rocks" print. I couldn't be happier with it! When I received it, I immediately took pictures of it and was on my cell phone sending it to my family and friends to brag. I had the perfect pair of baby leggings to go with it too! It even came looking like a gift. It was wrapped up in a red bow, it was a nice presentation that gave it the perfect touch (See photo at the top of this post).

Zookies diaper covers are perfect for use over your favorite fitted diaper or pre-fold. What is nice about using a diaper cover with a fitted or a pre-fold is that if you have an adorable one like this that makes the entire outfit, you can keep changing out the fitted or the pre-fold and leave the same cover on for multiple changes. With an adorable cover like this, you can build an entire outfit around it, like I did!

Another one of my favorite things about these diaper covers is that they can also be used as a swim diaper! Since I got a one size diaper cover, this cover will still fit baby M when the weather is nicer. I am looking forward to her being able to wear this as her swim suit/swim diaper! My current swim diaper will be too small by the time the weather gets better. It will be really nice to be able to use this one. It is adorable and needs to be shown off! Wearing it is a swim diaper is the perfect way to do that. 

These diaper covers are made very professionally. The inner layer is waterproof PUL (polyurethane laminate) and the outer layer is 100% cotton. The closure is available in 2 options of either the "Crossover" hook & loop closure, or a double row of snaps. I personally choose snaps because they last longer with laundering. One of the usual benefits of hook and loop is that you can get a better fit. But, with the generous amount of snaps on this diaper cover, you can get a great fit with the snaps as well. If you choose the hook and loop closure, they do have strong laundry tabs to keep things from snagging during laundering.  The diaper covers come in sizes from extra small to large, or a one size (which is what I got so that it would fit baby M from now until she is potty trained). It is easy to launder as well. Just wash warm or cold and line dry. 

Zookies has PAGES AND PAGES of different colors, designs, and patterns. You will be sure to find the perfect diaper to match your baby's style. She also makes custom diaper covers if you don't find something that is the right look for you. She has gone to the fabric store for customers to find the perfect fabric and has even had customers send her fabric that she has turned into a diaper cover for them. This diaper cover worked great for my little mover! She was crawling, playing, putting her legs in the air, and napped while it was on. I am happy to report that we had no leaks and no problems! :) It has a nice fit around the legs and didn't leave any red marks.
