Meagan from the Large Bummies blog and the Lights 106 Etsy site is a good friend of mine. She is actually one of two people that talked to me about cloth diapering baby M and converting me. She has been a great resource for me whenever I have had a cloth diapering question. Soon after I was done with disposables, she made me a fitted cloth diaper. I loved it so much that I asked her to be a part of my 100 Follower Giveaway. Luckily for all of you, she said yes!
I had never tried a fitted cloth diaper. The whole concept confused me. I didn't understand why it was needed if I add in an extra insert and have to use a cover. What is the point then? Well, after trying it I found that it adds a lot of extra absorbency and it prevents leaks since it fits the baby a lot better than most diapers. It is the perfect addition for night diapering. Fitted diapers can also be used without a cover (under close supervision to prevent leaks) to give baby a little more air flow on days that they have a diaper rash.
Here are a few of my favorite things about this diaper:
- The ADORABLE print!
- How it fits baby
- Absorbent material
- PRICE
- They come in snaps or velcro, your choice
The best thing about this diaper is that it is only $10! For a cloth diapering mom on a budget (aren't we all? After all, saving money is one of the main benefits of cloth diapering), it adds to your stash without breaking the bank.
